Root I want to root my HTC Desire

Is there any convenient software which I can use to root my HTC Desire with damaging phone or any harmful attacks..... ?

Certainly. Visit the Desire All Things Root forum here, and look in the sticky post "Desire All Things Root Guide". That has links to a couple of rooting guides. Personally I'd recommend using Revolutionary - the guide there should take you through it step by step, but read it a couple of times and feel free to ask if there is anything you are unsure of - best to post questions over in the Root forum.
