Root I want to Upgrade Please Help

Hello All,

Please help me upgrage my phone to the latest firmware. My phone is rooted. I cannot connect via the USB port. My only option is to transfer a file via my MicroSD. I would just love a link to download with step-by-step directions. Rooting was very easy, but not sure how to ROM. If I could update via recovery mode that would be easy. The HOWTO Root thread was great and easy to follow.

Model # SGH-T959
Firmware 2.1-update1
Baseband T959UVKA2
Kernel 2.6.29
Build # ECLAIR.UVKA2

why cant you connect through usb? do you have CWM installed already?

My PC does not recognize my phone. What is CWM? That sounds familiar and I think I have it. I've done so much to fix it I can't remember it all.

USB Device Not Recognized
One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.

well since you probably dont have CWM installed you can just throw it out ;P try to use the odin version

Tried using Odin and following the youtube tutorial, but I am blocked at the begining. Since my PC does not recongnize my phone I can't get it into download mode. How do I install CWM? Will that help?
