I know there is a camera on the front and back and you can take photos with each camera.

Can you take videos with each camera?
I'm interested in taking videos with the front-facing camera.
Can it be done?

Ah... that is excellent news! I don't see any obvious way with the built-in camera app. Am I overlooking something obvious or do I need another app to make these videos? If so, which apps can do it? TIA
