i have a i9505 it has reception but only says emergency calls only.... worked fine before when i was on contact but now i use a prepay sim... someone said it must have a bad imei why would it have a bad imei?
 
Emergency calls only usually means a bad SIM. Ask the carrier to check the SIM and replace it if necessary.
