Icon/App Removal

Sorry if I'm being thick but I'm new to Android.

My phone comes with some games pre-installed (Tetris, Bejeweled, etc)that I never play. I can't seem to remove them so is there away of deleting the icons from the phone or at least move them to the last page so they don't get in the way of apps that I actually do use.

Simply open the menu and press the bottom left button on the phone.
2- Press Edit
3- Press and hold the icon you want moving and the phone will give a little vibration and you should be able to move it around.
