Help Icon for Sideloaded App?

stackman1

Newbie
I use an old version of BeyondPod. I save the .apk that I like. Unfortunately, I recently wiped my Moto G to give it a fresh start and when I side-loaded the Beyondpod.apk. It doesn't generate an icon for my home screen. Any suggestions on how I can build one so I can invoke the app?

I take it the app appears in your app drawer?

Normally you just long press an empty area of the home screen and you'll get an option to add a new app/icon/widget/shortcut.
