Help Icons have grey bubble around them

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 running marshmallow, and my icons that are not default have grey bubbles around them. Is there some fix for this? It makes the icons look very ugly. Thanks.

Do as instructed in post #3 and they should be gone. I saw it on a Galaxy Note7 I had for a short time.

Looks like a "feature" may have accidently been turned on.

I did this, but the area "Icon Backrounds" is just greyed out and says Icons Only underneath it.

Although this shouldnt be a problem since I have switched to a different launcher "Asap Launcher" that works for me. Thanks for your guy's help!
