I gave a I cracked rep in Jackson TN my Samsung Note to fix a cracked screen, he brought it back the next day with the screen still cracked, and the device inoperable for the most part. None of my apps work ( GPS, Play Store, Direct TV, Etrade, etc), anything that connects to the net. But I DO STILL HAVE A BROWSER. So no apps, just a browser. Also, when I use my browser, I get a mssg stacked on top of each other sometimes dozens of times on mainstream sites like Wells Fargo, or CNN, saying the "Security Certificate for this site...." is something or other. Also, when I got it back the clock was wrong, and still is, it has not corrected itself. The rep claims he never touched it. It was obviously opened. Does anyone have any idea what he could have done to it. I really need this thing. Thanks.

Without physically examining the device it is impossible to say. Did they tell you why they hadn't replaced the screen? Was it working before you took it for repair?

Pugs Yes it was just fine before they picked it up, no issues at all, other than the screen was cracked. It was to be returned the next day with a new screen, but in the middle of the repair, the tech suddenly claimed that fixing the cracked screen might damage the LCD. Im not a computer tech, but I would think that fixing any cracked tablet screen might damage the LCD., hence the training. And like I said the clock was way off and lots of pry marks in the plastic trim. I just hoped maybe there was a setting that might be turned off or something, that would make it act this way, internet yes, internet based apps(which is most, including this diagnostic downloads) not working. Thanks for responding.

Just a thoght but have you tried a reset or maybe clearing the cache?

Clearing cache wont wipe your data but a reset will. What device do gou have?

Instructions on how to clear cache are here http://www.samsung.com/au/support/skp/faq/872670
Download Samsung Smartswitch to your PC and connect your device will allow you to backup any files in case you need to do a factory reset.
Smartswitch also gives an emergency firmware recovery option if we need that
