Help ICS 2nd Release Broke Hotspot and USB Tether

I have been running ICS for several weeks now.

Updated to the second release this afternoon.

Testing things out and Hotspot and USB tether no longer work.

Darn Sony ... do they not fully test this stuff before releasing it to the public?

Try an factory reset. My 4.0.4 works fine with WLAN and tethering.

What model Xperia do you have?

I just tried a factory reset. Still no good.

I also tried swapping SIM's thinking the hotspot/tether provisioning from AT&T somehow got messed up. That did not work either.

Devices can connect to the hotspot, but cannot get out to the internet.

I'm going to try re-flash back to Gingerbread, test that and work my way back up to ICS 4.0.4

Just had confirmation from TWO other Xperia users who said hotspot has been broken via the ICS 4.0.4 update.

Here is the thread on Sony's Talk Forum:

Factory reset or re-flash of ICS does not help.
