I'm looking at my battery usage stats through the built-in battery usage tool in the settings menu. When I click on a specific app, I get "CPU total, CPU foreground, and stay awake" times.
Sounds straightforward enough... But how exactly do I get background run times? I assume just subtracting the foreground from the total times... However, there are some apps, like "Internet" that have a foreground runtime of 2 minutes and a total runtime of 6 min. The question I have is, where exactly are those 4 minutes of background runtime coming from? I don't leave any pages open when I close the browser window.
Any help is much appreciated... I haven't been able to find much documentation on this utility.
Also, I assume the percentage breakdown between all the apps is relative to the total battery used from the last full charge, correct?
