If you're running a custom recovery, you cannot install it. I would very strongly recommend do not unroot to install it . Wait patiently for version you can flash in recovery

bad news,it contains a new hboot,so you will not be able to install it and remain soff.

you will have to wait for someone to patch the new hboot,or for jrocker to make a rom wich has the mount points modified to work with an older firmware.

not a prollem. ill flash an old hboot right quick and see if it boots still.

also,this may help you... this is how the rezound dealt with changin the mount points:
to run ICS on GB firmware we could flash this zip file:
http://old.androidfilehost.com/main/-Support_Files-/SuperChilPil/Old_Firmware_Patch.zip

or,they could run GB roms on ICS firmware with this:
http://old.androidfilehost.com/main/-Support_Files-/SuperChilPil/new_Firmware_Patch

i flashed the older patched hboot(used by revolutionary) and its booted and seems to be running fine. i can still see internal storage and the sd card,and its been stable for a few minutes. i havent messed with it too much,but it looks like the new hboot may not be an issue

Ok. I was able to look inside the zip & have been messing around. I cant do a rooted rom yet because this is only a patch and not full rom. When I full rom is available, I will root & debloat/deoexded.

That is some good news on the hboot. I will keep looking into it...

i put my sim card into the TB,and ill go ahead and use it for the day and see if any issues pop up with using the older hboot.

i dont know how to make roms,but i can make a file you can flash in hboot with boot/system/radios,if that will help

Hm. FoxFi doesn't work but Barnacle appears to once I froze TetherGuard using TiBu. I don't have any devices to test this with but at least Barnacle appears to have started an access point.

Wifi Tether in the Market works great!
Just use the settings posted in my thread where the stock roms are posted.
And the debloated versions have Tethering Guard already removed...

I thought I pulled the debloated ROM from your thread yesterday, but got the message about Tethering being blocked in HTC phones...

mecha_7.02.605.06710RD_ICS (558.26MB) is the one I installed. Is that the wrong one? I'm at work and can't check your site at the moment..
