ICS confirmed early Jan

since when has Q1 been early Jan? That reads to me somewhere between Jan and end March.

Wonder if it will have those touch screen menu buttons removed on the S2 (that already has physical buttons).

Yeah apologies, not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me...but could've sworn that the article said early jan in the main body...... and now it's disappeared.
 
Having an unbranded SGS2 and based on Samsung's inexplicable (or explained) tardiness in getting any updates out for unbranded phones, looks like I can expect an update around Autumn 2012 then. Not filled with hope to be frank - Samsung's update roll-outs are a joke,
