ICS data usgae vs galaxy tab

Hi,

so i got my S3 last week with very high expectations

To be honest these were very quickly dampend by the data usage of my S3.

I compare this to my wife's galaxy tab and boy i am shocked to see how many apps, syncs, social media, news, weather etc she runs and hardly uses any mobile data.... compared to my S3.

Anyone have any ideas? Is ICS more data hundgry than gingerbread?

I open facebook once and it take out 1.3mb data.... she has it running all the time with sync on, all notification.....

PLEASE HELP!

I had this problem and under settings then accounts and sync i just turned it off this then enables you to synch as and when is needed which suits me. also the new facebook with timeline is quite data intensive compared to the older versions and is the same as the iphone app (when that loads )
