ICS GoSMS MMS Problem

Hey guys, i would like to apologize if this is in the wrong forum. I am still new here and wasn't quite sure where to put this.

Anyways, i am on a droid razr on Verizon. I recently got the ICS update and pushed it through. I found out that I could change the default messaging app on the unlock screen by having the desired sms app (for me its GoSms) installed and disabling the default text messaging app. This works great because GoSms appears on the unlock screen in place of the text messaging app. I just found out though that I am unable to receive MMS texts. I have been working with it and found that if I enable the default SMS app I can receive them, but can't when its disabled.

does anyone know a work around so i can have GoSms on my unlock screen but still receive MMS? anyone have a similar issue?

Well i recently came across this thread which has a fix to the problem so I will post it in case anyone else runs into this problem.

Again, the problem is: Not being able to receive MMS texts when having GoSms installed and the stock text messaging app disabled in ICS.

The Solution: open GoSms. Navigate to Settings>advanced tab> import tips> check the box for "stock sms uninstalled"
