Help ICS issue?

Can't make phone calls. I get a message that there was a network error, please power down and try again. I did that, removed battery and still can't make calls. I'm on 232. Any ideas?
Fyi..I can receive calls, just can't call out
 
You have a couple of options.

1) do a factory restore
2) use the .905 fxz to restore .905 and then flash the 6.7.232

^^^Both of these option will wipe your user data!

3) use SamuriHL House of Bionic which will allow you to flash .905 then .232 with out loosing data. Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss you would use the .232 install

just talked to SamuriHL and he said it should work but you still might have to do a factory restore if it doesn't
 
can anyone point me to a post with instructions to get back to 905 from 232? I see the links but don't know what to do after I download it. Is it just like installing 232?

If i am on 232 and I do a factory restore, what do i restore? 905? 232? I am having trouble downloading the restore 905 file. I either have unsuccesful downloads or when i go to restore it is aborted at the point "E:signature verification failed". At this point if I do a factory restore to get back to square one sounds appealing
 
To continue explaining my issues...my phone can dial out now. One difference I notice is I am now in a 3G area, where as before I was in a 4G area. I'll see what happens when I go back in to a 4G area.

Back in 4G, phone can't dial out...weird.

I can't figure out in ICS how to just put phone on 3G....

factory data reset is done right from the phone. it will reinstall your current system (6.7.232). go to settings-privacy-factory data reset, then scroll down to reset and except. don't click the internal storage option.

the 5.9.905 fxz restore file must be used with rsdlite. all of the instructions are given in the thread i posted earlier.

So, I did a factory reset and it still didn't work. So I called Verizon and they pushed a signal through and now it works. I should have just called from the beginning but I didn't want to let then know I downloaded the leak...got to go reconfigure my phone
