Root ICS leak - horrible battery life

Mayhem

Android Expert
So I switched back to my Tbolt after having been stuck using a D3 for the last six months. I flashed the ICS leak and am getting about 2 hrs worth of use out of the Rezound battery. When I was running a GB ROM I was easily getting 8+ hours. Due, in part presumably, to using the LTE On/Off app. It apparently doesn't work with the ICS radios.

I tried the Liquid ICS build but it was acting flaky even after several flash attempts.

Anyone running the ICS leak or any other ICS ROM having any luck with the battery life?

I'm seriously contemplating back-leveling to a GB ROM. I just don't know how/if it's possible to back-level the radios or even where to find them.

So I regressed to Skyraider Zeus. I flashed what I thought was the 605.9 radio but it won't come off of 1x. I'm guessing I need the LTE radio for that build.

Anyone have a link? All of the ones I'm finding are in old threads and are dead links.

The LTE On/Off application says it's in LTE only mode but still the 1x...

I'm getting good battery life using liquid ics 1.5 Mr 3 with the .19 radio. I rarely have any issues and never even have to worry about turning 4g off anymore. I was also able to put Google Now on the phone, though it cut down battery life a little. I ended up turning certain features of it off though. Found a happy medium.
Edit: also I'm on stock battery

When I had Liquid ICS mr2 running on my phone, I could go all day and be at about 75 - 80% at the end of the day. Though that's with medium use, an extended battery and 4g turned off.

Hmm. I may go back to Liquid ICS then. I'm on SkyRaider Zeus and running the new ADW launcher and loving it, so it's a tough decision..

Thanks for the replies.
