Are these actual screen shots took with the phone or are they used from a third party app? I'm just trying to confirm we get the screen capture now...

Taken with native ics screen capture. Just hold down volume down and power for a couple seconds.

There's some discrepancy in your screenshots. The messaging app on the lock screen has Moto's icon and the one in the dock has ICS'. I noticed this because I was about to make a comment about how I liked Moto's icon.

Don't know if he edited the first post after the fact, but he stated that he replaced the messaging app, that wouldn't necessarily change the lock screen icon (or which app it launched) depending on how moto coded it

This is big. Not having that bulit in was a big oversite and the non roooted ways around this were cumbersome. Looking forward to ICS, may have to even put Go Launcher to rest for awhile when it is pushed!

Yes but you have to hold that down for about 10 secs. For screenshots only about 2 seconds.

I like what moto did with blur and ics. Made it look much more like ICS compared to what samsung and htc did. Not to mention I actually like the look of blur and the few changes they made.
It's definitely not final, as I can't imagine they're going to give end users Webtop 3 beta.
I hope they inform people before letting them upgrade that this is going to be quite a big change (if people use Webtop). Sony is going to make users accept the changes on the 2011 Xperia handsets, so I wonder what Motorola will do - or they may have a lot of people complaining.
While I'm sure we're all going to get ICS the second it is available officially, I bet we all know the type of phone user that would get very upset to see it all changing! The 'I preferred it when it was like this' brigade - that can be very vocal!

Am still waiting for the ics...every second of the day....the most used buttons in my phone would be settings>about Phone> check updates...its getting on my nerves
