Root ICS leaks and Safestrap

i hate sounding like a noob, but i cannot figure this stuff out, so help would be appreciated :)

im currently running a gb rom and have safestrap installed. i want to get to a custom ics rom. as far as i know, i need to be on a "leak" first. where do i start? i cant find the leaks, im new to "safestrap", and ive failed getting to ics twice already. spec instructions or a link to some would be perfect, please help
 
There are other ways to flash back to stock (Matt's Utility as an example) but RSD is easy as well.

If you were stock .181 GB you could do without using RSD though.
 
alright fine... ill use rsd, but the rsd download on the link comes up with a .rar extension, what am i supposed to do with that? i have rsd 5.6, will that work?
 
Download WinRar (free) and extract it like you would a .zip file.

5.6 would probably work fine.... but do you want to risk it when the instructions specifically call for 5.7? ;)

no i dont :) i was hoping someone did and confirmed it worked... oh well, i have all night, so i guess we'll see what happens
