ICS: Next/Previous Email. How To?

[Telemachus]

I've got a very stupid question. In FroYo, I recall there being up and down arrows in the email screen which allowed you to quickly browse your emails. I could quickly tap either arrow and scroll through. How can this be done in ICS? I have the email widget set up, but it's not the same. Any help?

Just swipe screen to the right or left....

That's what I've been trying. Swiping does nothing.

Is it for Gmail or regular mail?

For the regular mail app. I'm currently using it for my work's exchange mail and my yahoo account. Does the swiping only work with gmail?

You might want to try different E-Mail applications then. I don't do much outside of Gmail, but I've heard good things about Touchdown and K9. I'll move this thread to the Android Applications forum so people can chime in.
