One of the things I really liked about my G'Nex, prior to switching to Maxx, was the smoothness of ICS. On my Maxx, not so much! Not the same experience, because I have some hiccups that are becoming intolerable.
1) Each time I type a txt msg, I can only type about 4-5 words/symbol before it freezes & keyboard disappears. I have to exit the msg and return before typing can resume. Another few words, and same thing. Ugh!
2) when I use voice search in the browser & press search, my search content disappears, and I am still on google homepage w/ blank search bar. Very irritating, because it renders voice search useless.
3) Lag in response overall & limits for # of apps that can be placed in one folder
. Not so on my G'nex or using an app w/ GB.
I have already done a factory reset. I do not want to have to install apps just to get the phone to function correctly. I'm so disappointed that I can not return to gingerbread! Sorry for all the gripes. Any suggestions? Much thanks!
