Help ICS Sticky Note WIDGET GONE w/ JB

I've looked at 50 sticky note WIDGETS in the Play store. I just want one like the very simple one in ICS. I don't need corkboards, different colors, don't need it to sync, don't need multiple notes. Just a very basic sticky WIDGET.
Suggestions?

I'm with you. I miss that sticky. Why in the world would Moto remove that?

Only thing i can think of is Color Note. It has color options but if you just want a widget it has that in various size options too. Pretty basic just click, type and it saves.

When they removed it, they also removed all the information I had saved with NO PRIOR WARNING. Does anybody know how to recover the info they took the liberty of deleting? It is worth quite a lot to me.

So this is like Evernote, that I already have. I can't believe no one can make a simple, basic sticky note Widget like the one in ICS.

It really sucks that they removed this widget. I wish they would have said something before removing it as i had some important information on there and it is gone forever apparently. Sadly none of the other widgets are quite the same.

I didn't have anything of any importance at the time but my goodness, for them to remove the widget and not warn people is horrible. I bet there are a lot of angry individuals! Sorry you lost your information.

You may not want to go to the trouble of installing a new 3rd party launcher but I use Atom Launcher and like it a lot better than the stock Homescreen launcher. It's free on the Play Store. They have their own Atom Widget they call "Memo" that I believe is the basic type of sticky note that you're talking about.
