Help ics update broke my media

I updated my razr maxx to ics last night and haven't green able to access my media since. Surgically pictures, but also some audio. My gallery app freezes on a black screen when trying to look at pictures and the same happens for any 3rd party apps Ive tried. My music works but when trying to set up shuffle time i get the same black screen as my gallery. Any one else having these problems or know of a fix?
 
Have you done a hard reset after the upgrade? Some say it is necessary to avoid major problems.

If so, now try to clear cache for the apps that give you problems and see if that helps.

I had these same problems, and many more, on my S2, so I reverted back to GB.
Though I didn't try the factory reset. I hear it solves many of the problems.
Please post the results if you do the reset. I might have to borrow a PC again, update again, and try the reset as well.
 
I hate resets. :( i treat then as a last resort. I supose I'll suck it up and do it when i get home. I'll be sure to let you guys know if it works. Thanks!
