got a question for you.... i got the latest update but my battery life still isn't all that great compared to others... i get maybe 12-14 on 4 g... but i check facebook and email often... my voice is my heaviest drain... say a 30 minute phone call i can burn through 10 percent of battery... even with all that i do i still find that making phone calls eat it up... also i have bad ass battery moniter and it says that on a full charge i'm looking at maybe 4 and a half hours... screen is always at low. 0 percent..

so i'm wondering does ics improve battery life over the recent gingerbread update...

oh and if anyone can tell me how much voice consumption they use would be great to.

When I was on the ICS. 75 leak I didn't see any difference in battery. You also need to take into consideration that these are beta builds and not the finish product which means battery may not be the priority of moto while testing the OS.

I myself went back to stock and updated to. 181 gingerbread and await the official ICS which should be by the end of this month (hopefully)

How did you do this? Or could you link a thread that describes how? I think im ready to ditch this ICS .75 leak and get back on the OTA upgrade path. I am actually losing a little bit of battery life with this build.
