I take it from the lack of any posting on here no one has gotten their update that I just read was pushing out? That's okay me neither. Was hoping someone had it and could make the rest of us jealous by telling the rest of us all about it.

That is what I saw yesterday. They got the information from acer tablet forums. Thing with that's only like 3 people have gotten the update and so far no one on any other forum has said a word. Seeing how everyone seems to be chomping at the bit for this item would have thought if it was really out more people would be saying something about it. Usually people are yelling from the mountain top when their gadget gets a new update.

I have the leak installed, and it works fine. I dont know what is going to be different from the leak and official, but everything is pretty close to vanilla ICS.

Yeah... no ice for me yet either...

Does installing the leak wipe out your existng apps and everything?

Just got my a200 today around 1:00, and when I finished charging it I had honeycomb
Had to do 2 updates and now it has ICS its sweet

I got my ICS update last night now my wifi wont stay connected. Anyone else with this problem cause its pretty frustrating having a wifi only tablet without wifi. :(

I wanted to play with that face lock thing and I have not found it. Any ideas or did acer leave it off? Just thought it would be fun to play.

Can you install facelock separately? I got an A200 for my daughter who is turning six and I figure it would be easier for her than a pattern lock, etc. I am going to use app lock on the market, etc., but I would like to have some front line deterrence as well.

(And yes, my six year old has ICS before poor daddy and his down-trodden Thunderbolt, lol)

Might be a bit late considering the dates on some of the other postings, but I just picked up my A200 two days ago and was happy with Honeycomb. It wasn't all that different from Gingerbread but different enough to notice. Then last night I turned the tablet on just to read a magazine for a bit before going to bed and I was notified of the update being available. Well, of course I accepted the update and I am now the proud owner of an A200 running ICS.

So far, no complaints. The ICS features are nice and integrate very nicely. I am actually a bit surprised that there aren't many more posts here about it.

I found a couple of problems, games that don't work properly or at all (posted in separate threads) after the update.

Overall ICS isn't such a big improvement for A200 owners since we already had the jump to app from the unlock screen, screenshot, and the 'Acer ring', so the changes are mainly cosmetic.

I like the slide to cancel notifications, but it is not a world changer. To be honest, if it was easy to roll back to 3.2 I probably would, but that's just me.

Going with the idea that if it ain't broke don't fix it, I cancelled auto updates on most of my apps.
I also didn't have a problem with the Android Market, but now I guess I'll have to learn to like Google Play

I agree. Not too much of a change with ICS. The biggest complaint that I would have though is the app drawer. I would like a bit more control over the apps contained therein. I would like to maybe make a folder or two or be able to organize them differently. I know I can get a launcher for that, but I feel like I shouldnt have too. Those features should be built in to the OS.

Hi, I've had my A200 for a couple of days now and it hasn't updated to ICS yet. Is there anything special I need to do other than checking for updates?
