I rooted my phone using the method here. Thanks for that btw to those who figured it out and posted about it.
Anyway I started messing around with stuff and removing a few stock apps. I have no use for the ID packs, so I removed the .apk for that. I forgot however that the main menu has it built in. So now every time I click that menu option, the phone freezes for a few seconds and force closes the launcher process. This wouldn't be a problem if I had backed it up first.
While this isn't too bad, it is annoying.
So long story short, can someone with root find that .apk in /system/app and attach it here for me? I'm not sure of the exact name, but it has the ID icon so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Edit:
It appears that apk was needed for the original setup process when you turn on the phone for the first time or after a reset. I reset the phone and now the flashing samsung screen gets stuck and eventually it says the setup process stopped working. It then brings me to a blank home screen with only the status bar and none of the physical buttons work. I can't open any menus and can only lock and unlock the phone.
What I've tried.
- Recovery mode factory reset.
I only have stock recovery so I probably can't fix it that way, right?
