Identify an Icon? - RAZR Max

I am new to Android and just purchased a RAZR Max. I seem to understand things pretty much, but some icons showed upon the rop of the phone and now I have a whole line of them. They look like grey suitcases and in the middle is a black triangle like the play button on a media player. I looked in the RAZR manual and did some searches on line and find nothing like that.

Any idea what they are or how I get rid of them?

This means you have either got lots of updates to do or loss of things have been updated. If you go to the play store and then my apps, it should show you if you have any updates to do. If it is just updates competed you can just swipe them away.
