i have to agree with jessemetta this phone can take the abuse and you just gotta figure out what works and what dont.
i flash all the roms i can find for m835. now for the roms i have used and tryed key words i have tryed. the ascend roms work fine fix the screen problems in prop build just find lcd density and change it from 160 to 120 reboot then screen is fine.
ideos roms that everything works fro me any way are ideos 2.0, ideoshd2.1, {mui2.5 eye candy rom for sure but very solid rom.}
most of the above roms clame to be ics but actually they say 2.3.7 in the build properties. but good roms
CyanoGenMod 9 ICS everything except wifi works except i still get internet somehow and the keys you gotta get used to but i love this rom, you can tell by the settings its really ics rom finally. I have tryed tons of ways to get this rom to work and the only way for me is i use a m835 gingerbread 2.3.7 rom then i install the CyanoGenMod 9 ICS rom [do not wipe any data or dalvick cache dont rename to update.zip just install it then it works for me any way] i'm pretty sure ive tryed it every way possible.
