Help Ideos X5 u8800 wifi error !!

Please read !! I need help !!

I just install my new 2.3.5 gingerbread on my Ideos X5. I was very happy with the new interface and speed until I go to Wi-fi connection and get a error. When I try to connect on Wi-fi it shows a Error messege below the Wi-fi button. Please help me , my phone sucks without Wi-fi ,

What is the error message?

Either way just try installing the new 2.3.5 again...that should help

you must forget to wipe your x5 before installing the 2.3.5

Do you know how to do revert back to be able to wipe it and reinstall?

I have done the Gingerbread 2.3.5 install from Huawei and did not wipe beforehand.
All systems work OK. WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Network sweet as. Neil.

I did the same upgrade, & it updated but now the WiFi & Bluetooth won't turn on. I called Huawei support & they told me their update is NOT for USA phone & that's why it is not on the Huawei United States - A leading global ICT solutions provider
website.
They also informed me that this upgrade voided my warranty.

One would thing they would post a DISCLOSURE on their main site that USA phone are not upgradeable.
