if i lost my DROID X

Newbie
If i lost my droid x, what would asurion give me for it?
would they give me a droid x or something else?
did this happen to anyone recently?
would they give me a droid x2?

i notice on the verizon page they are not selling the droid x no more.


does anyone know how to find out what they would gove me?

please help anyone

you call asurion by the number verizon gives you, explain to them what has happened, you will be charged $85-$100 for the replacement of the phone, and you can special request a Droid X, otherwise they may just send you the DX2
 
Or what if they do a factory reset?

Had this happen to my son's phone that was taken out of his gym locker at school. We had family tracker on it and it showed with the last bit of data being out side the school heading the wrong direction while he was still in school so we knew it was stolen. There was never any more data shown on that line (we waited a couple days to see if we could track it). My guess is when they stole it they wiped it, and are using it as a WiFi device now, since it now has a stolen report against it.
 
Not sure about Asurion but i got my warranty replacement DX today. Not the DX2 which is what i didn't want so i'm all happy for now.

Oh ok, I thought they required a police report, I didn't know it was that simple. I always thought it involved filing a police report, thanks for clearing that up.

True that. Somebody told me that years ago and I just never questioned it or even thought about it since as I've never lost a phone or had one stolen. Thanks for clearing that up, now I feel slightly idiotic for not even wondering why the police would waste the paper. lol

dont feel idiotic, it happens, you were told something and believed it, but just know, its not very often the police will even do anything about a cell phone
 
I'm pretty sure if you have a Droid X, they will replace it with another X.... if....(and that's a big IF) ..... IF they have an X to send you. If they don't have an X, they will offer you an X2.
