If im using ChompSMS and smspopup for sending and receiving texts. Can I close the "messages" app? I was thinking I can but was unsure if all it is used for is text messages.
Messages app will keep opening when you get sms/mms anyway.
I don't even bother closing it with my task killer. It facilitates your phone actually receiving the texts, it seems, even if it's not your default program to read/send them.
