What it says on the tin really, I want a profile to be ignored when in range of my home network. (Can my phone even know if it is in range without the WiFi on?)

You need to add a context to your profile:
State > Net > WiFi Near > SSID = yourhomewifi, Invert = True
State > Net > WiFi Near > SSID = yourhomewifi, Invert = True
Yes. A real example ... I use these two to tuen wifi off when I am away from the networks in my office and back on when I am in the office.
Profile: tlaOfficeFar
State: Not Wifi Connected [ SSID:TLANET-2.4GHz/TLANET-5GHz MAC:* IP:* ]
Enter: tlaOfficeFar
A1: Wait [ MS:0 Seconds:0 Minutes:1 Hours:0 Days:0 ]
A2: WiFi [ Set:Off ]

just curious - whats the purpose of "Activate Signal Level:5" option?
why not disable that option all together?
A lot of playing around was done ... it looks like it was junk from testing. I just set it to 0 and it seems to work fine.
I changed it back to 5.
I tried it when I was at a meeting this morning away from the office ...
- When it was at 0 and I was away from my office both profiles reported active.
- When it was at 5 and I was away from my office only tlaOfficeFar was active.
(These are the most obscure profiles I have ever encountered.)
