Help iheartradio app keeps gps icon on?!?!

okay i have installed the iheartradio app on my phone and if youve used this app you know that you have to have your gps turned on prior to opening the program in order for it to work.. my problem is after i close iheartradio with the quit button the gps icon remains in my title bar permanantly.... i have tried toggling it on and off and the gps is off the icon will remain in the title bar untill i turn my phone off and then on again.. Help..HOw can i fix this?????
I ain sure the gps is off becasue other programs which need gps to be on will state that i need to turn gps on..

I relize this is an old thread and your problem is probably solved by now or you may not even be using iheartradio any longer... however, someone else might stumble on this going a google search (it was the fist thing that popped up for me).

Open your preferred Task Manager (I use SystemPanelLite), and kill iheartradio.
