I'm an idiot - how do I activate the speaker to hear MP3's?

How do I activate the speaker to hear MP3's?

I can only hear the songs through the earpiece... and since this phone has a speakerphone to make callers loud enough for me to hear, it's got to be able to play MP3's out loud, yet Googling just gives tons of useless pages instead of listing any page with help for this, and Samsung SCH-M828C Tutorial only seems to list how to get the speakerphone to activate once a call has been made.

Is volume turned up? You say connected to earpiece....wireless or plugged in?

Well, I could turn the volume up, but it would still be coming out of the phones stock earpiece (where you put your ear).

No, I don't have a set of ear-phones for it yet.

Ooh, I think you just answered it - turned up the volume the whole way, I guess that's as loud as it gets... That kinda sucks. I've had much cheaper phones with louder speakers.
