Without going into a long drawn out story I will at least say this. I am SO glad to be back with a brand new Metro S3, and unlimited everything. I left for awhile (Shame on Me), and tried just about every other carrier other than AT&T. I left metro and went with T-Mobile and a White S3, then to Verizon with a Black S3, then to Sprint and a white S4 (Awesome phone, poor reception), and now Im back. I bought a brand new Metro S3 yesterday, signed up for the $60 Unlimited everything, added insurance. And lovin it. Anyway let this be a lesson learned for others. Theres not much better out there if your thinking of doing what I did. Sure Verizons LTE is fast, but is it worth doubling your bill? Anyway thats all. Glad to be back, time to root, twrp, and see what the awesome people have come up with since I left. ;)

What was your experience with tmobile. I've been thinking about switching over to them because signal with metro has been really bad for me lately. I was up in el cerito last week which is near you I think and my signal was full bars. If it was like that down here I'd be good.

My boy has the s3 with t-mobile and I could say his phone is prerty darn fast.

welcome back, and for me tmo and metro is doing good in my area, S3 with metro and Note 2 with tmo.

This was the second time I tried T-Mobile, and I literally could not get a signal in my house. I had to use wifi even to make calls. Im not sure what it is but where I live very few carriers work. The only 2 that have worked well was of course Verizon, and Metro. Sprint, T-Mobile, Boost didnt work. Never tried AT&T here cuz I have bad credit with them from way back when I was with Cingular. But that doesnt mean T-Mobile is bad everywhere. Theres even a store in my town, but for me at my house (which is not in the boondocks) it wouldnt work. So Im back with Metro and get 1 solid bar, and 2-3mb/s and thats fine with me.

Moved to the metropcs general subforum.

@N4zty sorry I didnt know there was a Metro General Forum. Ill make sure I post non root stuff there. Thanks for the heads up. ;)

Anyone in Bay Area notice a speed increase? I use to get 1-3 at the most in my house, now pulling 3-5, and just got a 5.4. That may not sound fast, but for me its blazing considering what I usually get here at my house in Napa, Ca.

Grats. I bought a SG3 last week as well. I haven't touched a Samsung since the shitty Samsung Caliber of 2010. LG has been running Metro PCS for the past year but I do love this S3.

Shout outs to the Esteem and Spirit. I still love ya'll :D

Copped a Battery Case charger thingy from 1SaleADay a few days ago, can't wait to get it. 20$ for an 100$ case!
