EDIT. Some posts here were about battery concerns and moved here:

After having it for one full day of work, and now the long weekend, I have some concerns and wonder if anyone else is seeing the same issues?

Friday the 25th. unplugged at 6am and off to work .phone calls and texting with some browsing and emailing too. Battery did fine, did not charge till I went to bed at 10pm.

Saturday the 26th. phone is getting quite warm, data connection goes on and off at random and the internet is TERRIBLY slow. Can't seem to hold a cell signal either. Battery life needed to give it a quick charge a couple times during the day.

Sunday the 27th. left at 7am, by 2pm I was down to 38% with very little use. A few text messages and about 10 emails. Phone was very warm again. Signal was not great, but could not get internet connection at all. Data turning off and on again, at random.

Is it possible that there is an issue with Sprint in my area?

Do I have a phone issue? Or a sprint issue? Or is it me?

I know it can be a pain, but I would start from scratch with a Factory Data Reset. Thats always solved any issues on my previous Android devices. If that doesn't work, take it in and see if Sprint can fix it (or, exchange when stock is available).

Thanks Ben. I don't have much on my LTevo.... but I did just buy doubletwist pro and a bunch of songs. Will I lose them when I do a factory reset? Should I remove my memory card?

Mine is working flawless , however my wife has a new sprint galaxy nexus and she likes to play those scramble free zenga made games i dont know if you have those on your phone but I have seen them lock up frequently and her phone gets really hot so I look at them through system monitor and can see that there is an issue . its an easy thing to overlook , a lot of people have faith in apps working properly and blame the phone itself. and the zenga apps seem to want to use a lot of battery even normally.

I think you will lose everything, so save the music you want/need to your computer (or SD card, then remove it before the reset). At least thats what I've done in the past.

We have Airave users hereabouts, so I prefer to let them guide you further on that. Nicely done providing all the info, I'm sure that will help them in advising you. :)

the only way to delete or clear the sd card is to format or mannually delete the card. i save all my pix, music and games or other downloads all to the card. i have reset several times and my ringtones and such are always there. well that's the case with my galaxy 2 phone any way. i had tons of issues
