im confused

[Android Question]

i have a android quadband unlocked phone i brought online.i brought a t-mobile sim card to go in it and i have a 32mg sd card.i dont have enough space on my sim card so i want to save my messages in my sd card .since i dont have enough room on my sim card my messages won't come through it will pop up but when i open the messages i see previous meesages but not the one that was just sent what did i do?what did i click on to make that happen?

Messages are stored in the phone memory by default. When you open the messaging app you see one line per conversation. Click on a line and it will expand to the conversation. The app settings (menu settings when in the messaging app) should let you look at Old smss on the sim but wont put any new ones there. It's different to older types of phone
