Help I'm getting an error " Thermal Battery warning" and my phone shuts down automatically.

I have an android phone that literally heats up and I'm getting an error " Thermal Battery warning". That normally happens when I'm playing Clash of Clans (It's an online game). Whenever I am getting that error, my phone either shuts down automatically or stops responding. Can anyone help me how to fix this issue? Thank you.

Your phone is getting too hot. Basically the game is taxing your phone's resources too much. There really isn't any fix for this other than playing in a colder place, and maybe removing any case you may have put on the phone when you play.

Also, if you are charging while you're playing, that will significantly increase the temperature of the device. So unplug your device while you play if you have it plugged in.
