Help I'm having a couple of issues with my note 2

1. I can't find my default messenger app. It just disappeared. I know I can send texts via contact list but when I try to i get a error message.

2. When I download images from Google, etc. The image won't show up in my gallery unless I restart my phone.

Any help?

Right but it's not there. It's really no where to be found. I don't get it.

I'm just an ordinary user and just guessing really. However, if you have not done so already, I would check if the Messaging app is in 'Settings / Application Manager/ All '. If it is not there, then check if it has been disabled by scrolling to the bottom of the list. If it is disabled then re-enable it and re-start the phone.

If it is in the normal position in the App Mgr list and not been disabled, then I would progressively try clearing the Cache, a 'Force stop' and / or 'Disable' the app. Then re-start the phone before re-enabling the app. Clearly, your existing messages will be at risk but they may well be already lost in any case.

I actually have this same issue for your number 2. I have yet to find out an answer but as soon as I do I'll repost my solution.

They may be in the 'Download' folder of the Phone and / or the Ext SD Card. If they are, then how you get the Gallery app to recognise them is an other issue!
