I'm changing over to the Dark Side...an Apple iPhone4S. My computers are Apples and there are some advantages to having an Apple phone, too.

My original HTC Inc is for sale in the classifieds here, in case anyone is interested.

:D

Since replacing my 2005 iPod Nano with a new Touch a few months ago I've really been impressed with how the iOS UI has improved.

I still love my Inc and will stick with it until it's no longer doing the job for me, but I think once there is an LTE iPhone I might just have to give one a try...

Phones are like automobiles... Whatever works for ya... There isn't any right or wrong answer, if it works for ya go for it. I tossed the idea around, but truly what is the difference between the iPhone 4S and the Inc for me? Duel Core is about it. The Inc already has an 8MP camera which I don't ever use anyway. Personally the Inc loads things plenty fast for me. I personally think if these companies want to continue to sell things they need to start putting more distance between releases of phones and make them worth upgrading too. Again just my opinion..!!

I agree! And give us all the options - not just what you have out right this second - it's such a pain to know that another manufacturer is probably going to release something right after you buy yours and are out of the 14 day period allowed for exchanges.

I kind of want to get the new iPhone but as you said its not really worth it and with all the ROM's and stuff available for the INC its like getting a new phone with every ROM.

Cool man! :)

I am glad for you and I hope you will enjoy it man! :D

I love my iPhone 3GS it is a really nice device but the lack of an SDK for Ubuntu / Linux really makes me angry and pisses me off sometimes.

Anywayz I don't wanna start another "I hate Apple threads" in any event.

I hope you will be happy with your purchase and enjoy it as much as I have as my iPhone 3GS ;)

Best Regards

Stinky!

Well, I would hope so. That's sort of what Apple intended. Keeping the system tied altogether. Good luck.

like what? I have an iMac, MacBook pro and an iPad and I have yet to see any advantages the iPhone has over any of my Androids...

Just like those of us who live in the "Google-verse" there are a few benefits for people who live in the "i-verse" so hakr100 does have a valid point. OSX comes tied with decent(not nearly as good as Google's mind you) integration with the calendar and other things. The only thing Apple has the leg up on is media integration, but those of us with a working brain can do even better than Apple's ecosystem. For instance, I have a complete wifi sync on my home network at home of all my media, files, and important things like nandroid backups, and I've had this option LOOONG before Apple's recently poorly reviewed "iCloud" crap.
