Hi I am Mike , I work at a Verizon Wireless at Peabody , MA
I love Androids (Made By Google) and I checked this part of the Android Forums in specific as , The LG Connect 4G was the best phone I have used (I have alot!) and alot of people are active in this part of the forum , so I decided to post a new thread , I work for Verizon and I know alot of the phones they sell , I will be active and yes , I can help you with FAQ and more . I work for them but I don't need to own one of their phones so I personally like MetroPCS (Personally , I need to have a phone , A great one , for work , and put food on the table for my family) The LG Connect 4G was a great phone , The specs were amazing and so was the price , I am a geek for phones and specifications , But now I am in a worse situation (Economy) and I need something that I can use and buy for less than "$170" and Verizon contracts wheeled me in and I never even got my "Employee Discount" , So I switched to MetroPCS , Phone broke , Warranty will replace it ... Get this straight , for $100 Refurbished! , That is a rip off! For me it is , and 4-6 days shipping , and I will buy it in like 3 weeks and I need a phone , Good One Fast , so about 1 month...

I saw a LG Optimus M+ for $130 in best buy , its kinda slow , small , but good camera and slim , And In 3 weeks I can have it!

I also saw a Coolpad Quattro 4G , Good Battery , Kind of fast , Good Camera , Weird Design , 4 inches (A Plus) , Front facing camera , Almost no space in memory but I have a 8 GB MicroSD (Never go over 4GB of space for me<) Mobile Hotspot (A Plus) , and also Allmost full stock Android 2.3 (Looks like a Samsung phone from far in the launcher UI)

So I need some sort of help choosing

I know LG Connect is best but takes the longest to get , I am inpatient and I really need the phone before my month ends (in like 3 weeks 2 days)

Coolpad Quattro is ugly in a way , but it is inexpensive and kind of worth it

Optimus M+ is slow but 5MP camera and it is very slim! I like slim but not a slow phone either

So I need help , I don't want Verizons phones/plans
Neither other carriers (I like the Kyocera Hydro from Boost Mobile but I cant pay the phone , First Month , Activation , ETC

Now I need a phone for these exact things
My Verizon Job , Gaming ( I am a gamer and I like games like Need For Speed Hot Pursuit , GT Racing FREE , NFS Shift , World of Goo , Dead Space , ETC) I need Android 2.2 or above (I prefer 2.3 and ICS) I need to make calls , Tons of Texts , so A good size of 3.5 inches or above , Tons of emails , Youtube watching , a 3.2 megapixel camera or above ( I prefer 5 and 8 Megapixel to make some youtube videos like with my old LG Connect) Flash is not needed though , and I need it for phandroid and Appy Geek and more!

I suggest you go with the lg motion.
It's metros best overall phone and its only 150 or 99 if you get it from wirefly. Plus you can't beat unlimited everything for 55.:D

You didn't listen , I said I need a phone for less than $170 , In Store , It is $168 , and who forgot the $15 to switch phones .... so about $180 , sorry but I can not get the LG Motion 4G (But that is a good phone , I will keep in mind , but anything else?)

I don't get why you put the coolpad up there if it's the same price as the motion, haha. Got me thinking it wouldn't matter, than I would just wait for the connect.

so what happened with your connect? and if your budget is that tight then why not go with a used phone, ive purchased many phones from private sales off of CL(like new condition) just make sure to transfer your # on the spot so you don't conned into buying a mobile with bad esn.
 
My LG Connect was turned on way to long and it fried my digitizer , I need to have it about 12 hours in a cold room with Air Conditioner (8,000 BTU A/C) and then it works for 5-10 minutes , Sorry I didn't explain that alot , but I will be around the forum more often though since I am off the job for the 4 day weekend as vacation days , Verizon is great , But I can't stand them , They ripped me off for my Verizon Wireless RAZR MAXX , and other phones and Verizon FIOS was expensive , so I went to Comcast for the TV,and Web Package. No use for a home phone if you have a cell phone , but seems I don't have both now , I should have payed those extra $20 for a home phone..
Anyone have new suggestions or ideas?

The LG Motion 4G is $168 at my local store
The Coolpad Quattro 4G is only $150

Don't forget the $15 switch price

On A budget of $170

Right now , I think the Connect might be worth the wait but I am inpatient , Wish I could be a MetroPCS Clerk , For no reason...
