Root I'm stuck!

I'm following directions on the viewsonicgtabletfordummies site and did pretty good with the 1st step!...maybe someone can help me along for what's next? I am on 2.2 OS trying to get 2.3 My tablet says it's 1.2 branch

I installed clockworkmod as instructed under "code green"
went to step 3 ROM and picked vegan-tab ginger edition from the list, only because I've seen this one mentioned on several sites. When I click that link, I don't understand what to download next...do I pick one or do I need all of these?? here's the link that is confusing me

I am pretty clueless but hoping I can work through this. It's my 1st tablet and I don't want to mess anything up! ...But please don't give me additional directions that veer from this dummies site, I really don't understand anything beyond the very basics! :o

I can see I will have a problem with additional steps, but one thing at a time. TIA!
 
So I opened the download and it had a bunch of files plus boot.img

...the site I'm following says
Using your PC, download the ROM zip file from the appropriate link. Open up the zip file. If you see a file called "boot.img" and a bunch of folders, then leave your zip file alone. If you see another zip file called "update.zip" and a folder called "recover", then unzip the original zip file. What you want is a zip file with a "boot.img" file inside.

download that .zip file and leave it alone (i.e. do not unzip). reboot into clockwork recovery, wipe data/cache, choose "install ROM from SD", find and select the .zip file, and it should start loading.
