Image Gallery filter..

[techker]

Hey guys the only big down side i see about the Android os is that the apps installed store there images in the gallery..

i hate opening my Gallery and seing all kinds of folders with random images,icons.....

is there a way to filter that?only to show our pics not the application images??

There are a couple of ways to do this. First, I'd recommend an alternate image viewer since the gallery app is a little limited. Give QuikPic a whirl. Also if you know the location of the apps graphics, simply put an empty text file there and name it ".nomedia" and android will skip the scan for media files such as images.

Thats a cool trick for the txt file.i wonder why they don't do that when building apps..
