"Image too large" using Textra.....

Any tricks to texting a picture to someone I took with my Note 5 using the Textra app?
I get an immediate error saying "Image too large"

Keep your images and MMS size to less than 300kb, that's the limit for MMS. So you may have to downscale them, increase JPG compression, crop them, or whatever you need to do to reduce their sizes.

It's actually quite a frequent problem for MMS and modern large screen smart-phones with their multi-megapixel cameras. MMS was introduced during the era of flip-phones, and the specification has never been updated, it's legacy.

Ok guys!!! Here is the the official word from at&t. Their sending limit for MMS is 1MB. Period. I went into Textra settings and changed send limit to 1MB and all works fine now. I was on "no limit" in Textra and that was the problem. The picture I took was 3.2MB and it would not send. By choosing the 1MB setting in Textra settings what that does is when you send the 3.2MB pic Textra automatically compreses it to 1MB so it sends......SO...afmracer6, you are incorrect sir.
