I have anLG Optimus and i received a text message in the notification screen on top but when i check there is no message. I have tried to erase it, turn off the phone and take out the battery but it is still there. Does anyone have any idea how i can get rid of it? Plus I've only had this phone for 2 weeks now!

If applicable, pull down the notification bar from top and tap clear. Or go into settings - applications - all or storage use - messages and clear data. Also, you can delete all your messages from inside the message application. Hopefully this helps.
