Help Importing Text Messages

Dan.

Lurker
After a few years with iPhones I borrowed an Android device and loved it, so now I have a SE X10i and although I am not completely happy with it, its an improvement from my iPhone imho.

But, the last thing thats stopping me from selling the iPhone is my old text messages, I have now exported them into a .xls file, is there a way I can import this into my SE?

TIA :)

You can try download SMS Backup and Restore from Market. It can restore from exel files, not sure about .xls files though.
You can also try open it in exel and save it as .xml and I now SMS Backup and Restore can import from that file type.

I have Office 2010 Pro.

I can open and read the spreadsheet fine, but am I right in thinking this needs to be into some correct format\layout for SMS B&R to read it?

I don't think so. I think you just save it as .xml and it should work open it
with SMS B&R.
I have never tried this before my selv.

I have just tried, it offers me the chance to restore from my .xml file, but then processes 0 messages :(
