Help Impossible to use screen while charging

I have this posted on the Darkys ROM forum, but I thought I would open it up to the wider Samsung Galaxy S users.

When I chagre my phone, I cant unlock it, the phone doesnt register keypresses. I have to disconnect my phone so I can unlock it. If i put it back on charge after I have unlocked it, it still doesnt register keypresses.

This only happens when I charge the phone from the wall, and not by usb and nether when its plugged into the car.

Can someone offer any advice on this?

I have had exactly the same problem, turns out to be the cable or plug which goes into the wall from what I can gather.

I went out and bought another genuine Samsung charger and it hasn't missed a beat since.
