Improved sound with dock?

I remember reading that the sound is supposed to be improved with the dock in place and even that the dock acts as a subwoofer? Although I'm satisfied with the speaker, I hear no audible difference between the TP by itself vs docked. Anyone else have thoughts or experience?

Where did you read this information about a subwoofer? I can't find anything mentioning that spec. Extended battery life, USB port, SD card reader but no subwoofer mentioned.

I had seen the subwoofer thing mentioned multiple times as well.

It's nowhere in the ASUS web page for the Prime but I see that Best Buy mentions it. Amazon does not. It would be cool if it were the case that it does indeed have a subwoofer. From BMacgyver's comment, though, it doesn't seem to be the case.

Heck I've heard of the dock having a subwoofer too.I would like that.I'm about to purchase 1 tomorrow & I'm going to pay $50 more than the normal price too! This thing better have something besides just the extra battery lol.

If there is one then its using a very loose definition of subwoofer. I cannot see them fitting a speaker in there that would be able to produce the frequencies intended for a SUBwoofer. It is possible they might have a "Bose" type chamber system to produce lower frequencies though.
