In call options not working

While I am in the in-call mode (making a phone call) my screen shuts off and won't turn back on so I can end the call. I try pressing the end call button but that does not work either. I can't even end a call until someone hangs up on me first. Does anyone know if this is normal or if there is a setting to fix this or is it just broken?

Many of these phones have sensors that tell the screen to dim (and locks the keyboard) when the phone is brought close to your face. I'm guessing that maybe this proximity sensor is at fault. It might be worth trying a factory reset on your phone... or maybe just calling tech support to see if you're eligible for a replacement.

Which phone are you using specifically? I have the Rooted A855, and this used to happen to me, and just one day somehow fixed itself, I'm not really sure why, quite puzzleing
