I did see some tv program that I do not remember all details but some parts of it that is similar to this.. When people die (those that have a "little" extra money and have opted for this) they take the brain and slice it very thin and cut it up into smaller pieces after that. After that process they are then able to record all the info onto a hard drive, and something was said about they would eventually be able to bring the person back to life inside a computer i don't remember everything they were saying about it thought.
