Help In-line microphone from earbuds + Droid Turbo Issues

Is anybody successful in using their earbuds+in-line mic to answer phone calls? When I had my Samsung S3, i had no issues answering phone calls with either the earbuds that came with the phone or any skullcandy ear buds. Am I missing something here? Are there settings that I need to change or is the Droid Turbo simply not compliant with this tech? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I too have problems. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Tried many different ear buds. The only thing that I find works every time is blue tooth headphones. If you find a fix please post.
